My name is Kira and I pride myself on being a multi-passionate and multi-lingual global citizen who loves all things travel and photography. By day I love my work in international development -helping others while trying to make a positive impact. By night - photography steals my heart -the creative element that lights my soul on fire. I absolutely love working with people in their most natural environments trying to capture raw & unfiltered emotion and reflecting genuine human connection in order to tell powerful & meaningful stories.
My passion is documentary lifestyle photography where I focus on maximizing natural light & timeless portraiture to visually showcase those authentic & candid moments from everyday life that just should never be forgotten! My approach can be considered by some as 'spontaneous' and I often work with clients who want non-traditional photos, enjoy having fun, are all about letting the creativity flow in a truly organic way and who do not mind bending the rules or taking some risks to get 'the shot':) This paired with a shared understanding of your vision allows me to tell your unique story! I am available for lifetsyle family & portraiture sessions, personal branding, small intimate weddings and a variety of creative freelance projects within impact storytelling, culture & art and travel. Based in Aarhus and CPH Denmark and always up to meeting for a coffee or wine - but interested in international opportunities as well!

Why Photography?
Life is beautiful - why not capture it?! I didn't always know I wanted to work with photography but somehow I always had a camera with me. I love the idea of freezing a moment in time - a moment that we want to hold on to and cherish forever capturing stories, culture, people, food, memories etc at home and from my travels around the world- from India to Nepal, Morocco, Cuba, Mexico, Vietnam, Cape Verde, Argentina, Antartica with many places in between!
